Cronos Europa – Data Scientist
We are currently looking for a “Data Scientist” to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.
This position requires a maximum of 5 days per month at client offices. However, teleworking must take place within 2 hours of Brussels.
Responsabilities
Coordination and review of policy units’ business needs
Definition of solutions proposed for servicing policy units’ business needs
Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers
Carry out ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tasks
Creating, designing and developing data models
Analyse large datasets and propose approaches for optimisation of reporting
Assessment and quality control of data
Preparation of statistical analysis of data for use by policy officers and other stakeholders
Management and processing of data
Reporting of key indicators for different policy fields on the basis of data sets available
Development and maintenance of interactive dashboards in Power BI
Assistance with data management aspects of IT projects developed
Technical skills
Data Analytics techniques and tools
Power BI (including Power Query)
Experience with one or more of the following: Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, Languages like Visual Basic, SQL, Other Business Intelligence tools (SAP Business Objects, QlikSense, SAS…), ETL processes and tools (i.e. Azure Data Factory…)
SQL tooling (NoSQL DB, MongoDB, Hadoop, SQL)
Architectural design and implementation of scalable modern data stores
Knowledge in one of the following areas: predictive (forecasting, recommendation), prescriptive (simulation), sentiment analysis, topic detection, social media crawling and processing, trends/anomalies detection in datasets, recommendation systems
Profile
Bachelor’s degree minimum
English fluent
Ability to integrate in multicultural environment, team player, discretion, integrity, problem solving
