Mobile robot project / Localization solution / Zurich / CHF 700-900 per day

Darwin Recruitment are building a team of mobile robot localisation specialists. Our client located in Zurich, are starting with a temporary computer vision / robotics senior engineer & team lead.

General Conditions

* Start Date: January 2024 (ASAP)
* End Date: long term project (temp to perm)
* Location: Zurich 3 days per week / Home office 2 days per week
* Day Rate: Depends on experience. Approx CHF 700-900

This appeals to you

* Leading the division/project responsible for the development of the localization solution for mobile robots
* Drive the requirement engineering, concept definition and architecture for SLAM, re-relocalization and multi-modal sensor fusion
* Evaluate, testing and implementation for state-of-the-art methods and adapt to our needs
* Deliver reliable software through code reviews, continuous integration, and automated tests
* Coding in modern C++ and Python, based common Git software engineering workflows and peer code-reviews

This is you

* Masters in Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
* You have a track record of at least 4 years in using or implementing localization algorithms
* Strong theoretical understanding of SLAM, state estimation, computer vision
* You are very experienced in modern C++ and comfortable with Python
* Experience with ToF and RGB-D sensors is a plus
* You enjoy system integration/ building product out of cutting-edge algorithms
* Proficiency in English
