Context for this Freelance/Self-employed mission: For one of our clients, we are looking for a calibration engineer.

Missions:
Read, understand and review the input system specification
Be part of the elaboration of the required calibration and verification plan
Ensure test preparation with all interfaces
Execute activities (data analysis / simulation/ physical testing (bench /vehicles)as defined in the calibration plan
Monitor and ensure quality of the activities as owner of the test campaign
Analyze the results, summarize them and provide the calibration changes accordingly to the calibration synthesis team
Capitalize on the results and write test reports
Propose continuous improvements to the method and product and train users in these new methods
Our development are done in a cross functional approach with system engineer, component responsible and software developer, so the consultant will have to interface with them among others.

Technical environment:
Diesel and/or gasoline ICE and/or EATS Calibration experience in the automotive industry on Engine test bench and/or Vehicle
ICE or EATS calibration development (Vision, Creta, Matlab, Python)
Fluent in English (written/ spoken)
ICE and/or EATS knowledge;
Experience in programming tools (Matlab, Python)

Location: 5 days a week on site in Lyon
