C# .NET SQL Developer – Commodities Investment Bank
C# (.Net 5 onwards)
Commodities experience preferred, financial experience essential.
SQL Server
Business knowledge of financial instruments and related pricing, risk or similar calculation methodologies, with commodities knowledge a plus
Strong technical background with experience of working on or with service based architectures, web technologies, REST, GRPC, IBM MQ or similar
Experience with technologies such as Consul, Redis, Octopus, TeamCity a plus
Competencies
Organised and delivery-focused, with attention to detail
Solid work ethic and high levels of motivation
Comfortable operating with a strong level of autonomy
Ability to work well under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The Role is to join the London-based core development team serving the full pre-trade through accounting chain for Commodities Derivatives. Our client has a portfolio of projects covering enhancements to pricing, risk, regulatory and post-trade services, and technical enhancements to reduce system complexity and increase scalability, performance and resilience.
Products include Base and Precious Metals, Oil, Power and Natural Gas, Coal, Emissions and Agricultural Commodities.
