On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a C++ Developer for an initial 6 month contract based in London with remote work available.
Purpose of the Role:

You will join a development team that are enhancing a FX Flow trade capture system, the system provides deal capture and position keeping for the FX business and supports over 1500 users in over 30 locations. The role will pre-dominantly involve delivering functional enhancements for the business; however technical projects are also undertaken as well as bug fixing and assistance to the dedicated support teams.

Responsibilities of the role:
As a C ++ Developer you will be responsible for:
Management of deal capture and allocation of risk to the appropriate trading desks.
Support for post trade business events and status workflow (Block split, averaging, spot push, rolls, early termination)
Integration with upstream systems, in particular the banks ecommerce offerings and Single Dealer Platform.
Integration with Risk, Settlement and other downstream systems.
Carry out development to highest standards.
Assist / conduct 3rd line support.
Participate in discussion and propose ideas to make the application robust, scalable and performant.
What we require from the candidate:
C++ / Windows or Linux.
Experience with the creation of low-latency, near real-time systems.
Design Patterns.
Multi-thread coding experience.
TDD.
Agile methodology.
