Business Analyst/Project Manager- Banking Operations
London- (Hybrid)

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will play a pivotal role in driving and supporting various technical projects within our banking operations and back-office teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of banking operations.
The role:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and identify opportunities for improvement within banking operations and back-office functions.
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects related to system upgrades, process enhancements, and regulatory compliance within the banking domain.
Utilize technical expertise to translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Conduct thorough analyses, prepare documentation, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and understanding of project requirements and deliverables.
Assist in project scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and issue resolution to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Contribute to the testing, implementation, and post-implementation support of solutions, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
Key Skills and Experience:
To succeed in this role you will need:
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a hybrid role involving business analysis and project management within an investment bank or financial institution.
Proven experience in working with various investment banking functions like front-office trading, middle-office operations, and back-office settlements
Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Strong analytical mindset with the capability to identify inefficiencies, propose innovative solutions, and troubleshoot issues within investment banking operations.
Proven track record of analysing complex data sets to derive actionable insights and improve processes or workflows.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with diverse stakeholders including traders, risk managers, compliance officers, and IT teams.

Familiarity with software development methodologies (agile, waterfall) and tools commonly used in project management (JIRA, Trello, MS Project).
Experience with data analysis, SQL, and business intelligence tools is a plus.
Certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or relevant technical certifications are advantageous.
