Overview: We’re seeking a versatile Business Analyst with a focus on process mapping and expertise in risk and control frameworks. The ideal candidate will excel in documenting process flows and possess a background in either business or tech, with an inclination towards exploring various tools (currently utilizing Visio).
Key Responsibilities:
Process Mapping: Proficiency in process mapping, prioritizing documentation of workflows utilizing Visio or other tools. Emphasis on detailing process flows rather than in-depth topic understanding.
Risk and Control Framework Expertise: Experience or exposure to risk and control frameworks, particularly in the areas of control ownership and the first line of defense. Previous roles as a risk steward in risk type teams would be advantageous.
Task Planning and Delivery: Develop and execute detailed task lists and plans, taking charge of plan delivery akin to a junior PMO skill set.
Operating Model Design Support: Assist in the design of operating models, particularly for the Chief Control Office. Prior experience in operating model design, non-financial risk frameworks, or familiarity with the 3LoD model would be beneficial.
Implementation of Revised Non-Financial Risk Framework: Offer support in implementing revised non-financial risk frameworks. Expertise in risk & control taxonomies, inventories, risk assessments, control assessments, RCSA processes, or control testing would be valuable.
Profile
Requirements:
Strong expertise in process mapping, with an open mindset towards utilizing various tools (experience with Visio preferred).
Background in either IT or business, possessing a curious nature to ask pertinent questions and document process flows.
Knowledge or experience in risk and control frameworks, particularly control ownership within the first line of defense.
Proficiency in developing detailed task lists and plans with a focus on plan delivery.
Familiarity with operating model design, non-financial risk frameworks, or understanding of the 3LoD model would be advantageous.
