Location: Remote, in Germany.
Length: 6 months

Tasks and Responsibilities:
– Take on technical responsibility and be significantly involved in the planning and development of our scalable vehicle data platform
– Work together with your colleagues in agile teams on challenging and interesting concepts as well as architectures with your great technical expertise
– Design, develop, and test high-quality platform software with focus on quality, resiliency, and scalability
– Create and manage microservices and storage systems for IoT data
– Accompany the entire software development life cycle: from the first proof-of-concept to the executable product, including continuous support and integration of new functionalities
– Contribute to the continuous development of the corporate culture and team spirit as an active team member

Who you are?
– Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science or a related field
– Professional experience in the development and operation of software systems
– Practical experience with relevant languages like JAVA or Python and a command-line interpreter like Bash
– Knowledge in one or more areas: Cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), Containerization (e.g. Docker, Maven, Gradle, Kubernetes, OpenShift), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK)
– Solid technical knowledge in backend development
– Experience with Big Data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark) is desirable
– Fluent English language skills (oral and written)
