Azure Test Manager

Robert Half is collaborating with a Global Consulting Firm in their pursuit of a skilled Test Manager to lead a Data migration programme with specific experience in the FMCG, retail, hospitality, or travel/tourism industries.
Incorporating Azure Databricks for enhanced data processing capabilities, the Test Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transition of critical data within these diverse sectors.
The Assignment Details:
Duration: Initially a 3-month engagement, with prospects for extension.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid setup conveniently located near Bedford.
Daily rate at c.£550.00 p/day via umbrella company
The Test Manager will need experience in sectors such as FMCG, retail, hospitality, or travel/tourism and have:
Proven experience as a Test Manager within these sectors, with a strong focus on data-driven projects.
Expertise in devising comprehensive testing strategies and methodologies tailored to the unique requirements of FMCG, retail, hospitality, or travel/tourism domains.
Proficiency in leveraging testing tools and technologies, including Azure Databricks, to automate testing processes and enhance efficiency. The candidate should demonstrate extensive experience in implementing Azure Databricks solutions within complex testing environments.
Hands-on experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritise, and address testing needs and requirements, particularly within the context of a business-critical system replacement programme.
Extensive experience in managing third-party relationships and vendors involved in the testing process, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery of project objectives.
Excellent communication skills, with the capability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels and present test strategies and results in a clear and concise manner.
