Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Avaloq Developer for an initial 6 month contract based in London with remote work available.
As a Avaloq Developer you will be responsible for:
Working to support the change delivery of related projects of the core banking platform as well as supporting new innovative technology to deliver high impact solutions.
You’ll apply customisation to the Avaloq Core Platform for the lending initiation process, lending processing, lending documentation and in-life credit lifecycle management. This role is essential to support Wealth business with an outstanding « finance my needs » Client journey for products such as mortgages, loans and overdrafts.
Work closely with business analysts in requirements engineering on projects and small enhancements.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure functionality is fit-for-purpose.
Contribute to technical refinements for digital focused projects and enhancements.
Support quality assurance and test activities during release cycles.
What we require from the candidate:
Avaloq customisation certified – either Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) or Avaloq Certified Customisation Professional – major in core (ACCP)
Knowledge of the key phases of a software delivery lifecycle.
Experience working in a team following Agile methodologies.
Applicants are also more likely to be successful if they have:
Business knowledge of UK lending processes, products and regulations.
Avaloq customisation experience of the credit component.
A solid understanding of Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
Exposure to modern front-end development platforms.
