Freelance Cybersecurity Engineer (MAGSEC) – Dresden (Mostly Remote) – 6-Month Project
Are you an experienced cybersecurity engineer with a deep understanding of AUTOSAR, MAGSEC, and Ethernet security? We have an exciting opportunity for a Freelance Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team for a 6-month project focused on enhancing automotive cybersecurity solutions. This role is mainly remote, with occasional on-site meetings in Dresden.
Location: Dresden (Remote, with occasional on-site meetings)
Duration: 6 Months
Key Responsibilities:
MAGSEC Integration: Implement and optimize MAGSEC cybersecurity solutions within our AUTOSAR-based automotive systems to enhance overall security.
Ethernet Security: Develop and refine security measures for Automotive Ethernet networks, including secure communication protocols and encryption techniques to protect data integrity and confidentiality.
Driver Development: Create and optimize lower-level drivers for Ethernet and cryptographic modules, ensuring they meet high-security standards and perform efficiently.
AUTOSAR Framework: Integrate cybersecurity features within the AUTOSAR architecture, focusing on secure communication and cryptographic services in compliance with industry standards.
Security Enhancements: Apply best practices for implementing cryptographic solutions, secure communication protocols, and robust security measures throughout the system.
Skills & Qualifications:
MAGSEC Expertise: Strong understanding of MAGSEC technologies and their application in automotive cybersecurity.
AUTOSAR Knowledge: Experience with AUTOSAR standards, particularly related to cybersecurity and cryptographic modules.
Ethernet Security: Proficiency in securing Automotive Ethernet networks, including knowledge of relevant security protocols and encryption methods.
Cybersecurity Skills: Proven experience in implementing secure communication protocols, encryption, and other cybersecurity measures.
Embedded Systems: Expertise in developing lower-level drivers for Ethernet and cryptographic hardware in embedded environments.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in C/C++ and secure coding practices. Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity standards, such as ISO/SAE 21434, is highly desirable.
Remote Work: Ability to work effectively remotely, with strong communication skills and time management.
