Arηs is looking for a VMware Engineer to join its team composed of experts.
As a technology specialist, empowered to independently conduct small to medium engagements with customers, you will assess client’s network infrastructure and the VMware Software-Defined DataCenter solution portfolio.
Typical tasks will be
Own and drive the customer experience throughout the lifecycle of a Service Request
Resolve technical issues through diligent research, reproduction, and troubleshooting
Participates in the planning and development of process, technology, tools, and utilities that automate the operation, monitoring, and documentation
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation
Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of cloud computing and networking applications, industry directions, and trends
Maintain working knowledge of creative architectures
Show assertive leadership in server Virtualization and cloud computing
Work in a diverse team of consultants to design and implement sophisticated SDDC solutions comprising VMware product stack (VCF on VxRail)
Contribute to maintain current knowledge of the entire VMware vRealize Suite product stack and Cloud concepts
Your profile
Demonstrated experience in working with Virtualization platforms: VMware vCloud Foundation (vSphere, NSX-T, vSAN)
Knowledge in VMware vSphere 7 with, VMware NSX-T, VMware vRealize Network Insight, VMware vRealize Operation
Good understanding of VMware private-cloud components (VCF, VxRail, vSAN, NSX-T, vROps, Network Insight, Log Insight, Workspace One)
Familiarity with systems management concepts, processes, and standards
Experience supporting large enterprise deployments
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at the appropriate level of detail and technical content for the target audience
Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner using business and user-friendly language
Excellent attention to details
Excellent communication in a virtual team environment
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Great organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a diverse workload
Knowledge of the ITIL Framework would be beneficial
Critical skills:
Experience in customer-facing positions as a professional services consultant or engineer, preferably with an IT consulting firm or a network equipment vendor
Demonstrate a background with enterprise private cloud infrastructures
Understand DataCenter networking Fabric topologies and common architectures deployed both Layer 2 and Layer 3 based
