On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for an Application Support Analyst (Risk) for a 6 Months contract based in London (Hybrid 2/3 days per week in the office).
Purpose of the Role:
As Application Support Analyst (Risk) you will provide support to business users in relation to production and application services for Market and Counterparty Risk, you will also act as a second/third level production support related to Market and Counterparty Risk.
Responsibilities of the role:
As an Application Support Analyst (Risk), you will be responsible for:
Provide business support to users and act as second line/third line of support.
Analyse data quality/system issues and remediate to these.
Provide daily sign-off on main services (Risks, VaR, Limits…).
Analyse the weekly issues and identify recurrent issues.
Document operations processes when required.
Contribute to build tools used for controls, monitoring and reporting.
Contribute to the continuous Improvement of the operations.
What we require from the candidate:
Previous experience as support analyst in the banking industry with a focus on Front office or Risk functions.
Previous experience in production support, specifically functional support and application support.
Finance background with sound experience in risk management.
Experience in data support, data analysis.
Being able to read codes and answer technical questions surrounding SQL and Python queries.
Understanding of ITIL framework.
