Brief Description of Job Scope:

Our client’s application portfolio primarily comprises business applications in the field of Risk Management. The ideal candidate will bring a robust understanding of IT, Linux, SQL-DB, with banking experience, and a flair for Java development.

Responsibilities:
– Application Management (Operation and Maintenance, SLA, Problem, Release/Test, Risk Management, Documentation)
– Introduction of product enhancements
– Implementation and testing of releases
– Project collaboration (migrations, adaptations)
– No personnel management, budget responsibility

Required Experience and Skills:

– The ideal candidate must have a solid IT understanding, with a significant advantage in banking experience.
– Proficient interaction with business stakeholders, system engineers, database administrators, and external solution providers
– Familiarity with integrated business applications, including incident management
– Knowledge of application security aspects and collaboration
– Familiarity with various database systems, especially Oracle
– Knowledge of incident/change/release management processes of larger companies in the service industry (preferably finance/insurance)
– Residence in the Greater Zurich area, fluency in German and English
