Description:
We are looking for an API Developer to join our portal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API design and development and expertise in C#, dotnetcore, Azure, and related technologies.
This position will have the responsibility of developing and maintaining APIs.
The API Developer will also be expected to provide technical and business analysis to ensure the APIs are delivering the desired results.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of API design, including the principles of REST, JSON and OAuth and be comfortable working with databases and web technologies.
You should also be able to work with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that the APIs are meeting the requirement.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
• As an API Developer, responsible for designing and developing RESTful APIs to provide access services and data.
• Create detailed API documentation to enable consumer to easily integrate with backend.
• Creating, maintaing and monitoring API’s in Azure APIM.
• Developing and deploying dotnet core API microservices in AKS.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirement and develop solutions that meet requirements.
Requirements
• Proficient in c#,dotnet core and postgresql.
• Hands-on in developing and deploying services on cloud environments – Azure. knowledge of Azure functions,APIM and storage account is must.
• Proven track record of designing and developing RESTful API’s.
• In-depth knowledge of web technologies including HTTP, XML/JSON, web security, authentication/authorization protocols.
• Good understanding of relational databases and NoSQL databases.
• Good understanding of GIT, CICD. Ideally Gitlab.
• Knowledge of docker and containerisation is good to have.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
