Description:
We are looking for a Senior Android engineer that will join a new product team. You will implement new experiences and capabilities in the our Android application . Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences streaming content.
What You’ll Do:
Plan, architect, design, develop, deploy, document, and operate Android features.
Build a new experience to support new types of content consumption.
Collaborate with external teams in the company.
Deliver testable, maintainable, high-quality code.
Collaborate with other engineers, designers, product managers in the team.
Author & circulate technical RFCs to document approaches and present proposed solutions.
Who you are:
You are an expert in Android development.
You have demonstrable experience of developing features with large scale reach collaboratively.
Prior experience of working with with frameworks we use (e.g. Mobius) is a huge advantage.
Experience building video streaming applications is a plus.
Ability and willingness to contribute to other domains like android, backend or web is a bonus.
You pay close attention to details and are a good verbal and written communicator.
You take pride in your ability to identify and solve complex, unfamiliar problems, and present them to the rest of the team.
You have a growth mindset, are curious and not afraid to be experimental.
You share your ideas and continuously improve yourself and the team around you.
You care end to end about the product, the implementation, the design, and the business
