AIX/Power Systems Administrator
Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior AIX/Power Systems Administrator with over 10 years of experience in managing and supporting large-scale Power System/AIX environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in LPAR, High Availability techniques, and Disaster Recovery. Proficiency in Ansible scripting and Unix capacity planning is essential.
Missions:
Administer and maintain AIX/Power Systems infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance, and security.
Implement and manage High Availability (HA) solutions and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies in Unix environments.
Automate tasks using Ansible and optimize system performance through tuning and sizing.
Provide support and troubleshooting for complex AIX-related issues.
Monitor capacity planning and evaluate customer requests for infrastructure upgrades.
Manage updates and patches to ensure system reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
Participate in on-call rotations and be available for weekend change implementations.
Profile:
10+ years of experience in AIX/Power Systems administration.
Expertise in AIX troubleshooting, tuning, and performance optimization.
Strong scripting skills in Ansible (mandatory).
Knowledge of RedHat/Linux on Power Systems is a plus.
ITIL framework knowledge and customer-oriented mindset.
Fluent in French & English (Spanish is a plus).
Ability to work under pressure, adapt to tight schedules, and be a team player.
Location: Luxembourg (DXC Site), with participation in on-call rotations and weekend changes.
