AIX Administrator
We are seeking a Power System/AIX Systems Administrator with over 10 years of experience to support large-scale and complex UNIX environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AIX systems administration and high availability techniques, with strong scripting skills in Ansible.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert support and administration for Power System/AIX environments.
Troubleshoot and tune AIX systems for optimal performance and capacity.
Manage disaster recovery and business continuity processes within the UNIX environment.
Maintain and update UNIX systems, ensuring timely patches and security updates.
Work closely with customers to understand and fulfill their system requests.
Collaborate in a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and stress resistance.
Be available for on-call rotation and weekend change implementations.
Key Requirements:
Over 10 years of experience in Power System/AIX systems administration.
Extensive experience in supporting Redhat on Power systems; Redhat knowledge is an asset.
Ansible scripting is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of high availability techniques in UNIX environments.
Excellent troubleshooting and tuning skills for AIX systems.
Familiarity with ITIL processes.
Strong communication skills in both French and English; Spanish is an asset.
Self-motivated, proactive, and customer-oriented.
Ability to handle stress and work under tight schedules.
Available for on-call rotations and weekend changes.
