LINUX System Engineer

for a Belgium Client
The System engineer will work with the team for:
Maintaining the Linux environments up to date via Azure ARC It must become the de-facto standard, which might imply to upgrade/reinstall some exotic Linux setups
Monitor via Azure Defender security vulnerabilities and resolve them by applying patches.
Keeping Linux images up to date in Azure DevOps
Improve the current Monitoring system Zabbix.
Review the actual system. Update system to most recent version when needed.
Collect, update and review the monitored items (especially the application level) and improve the monitoring by specializing metrics and indicators, and build dashboard (includes usage of Grafana) .
Review the alerting and communication method to comply with the service definition.
Build a visual dashboarding system Using Mawi display boxes (NOC/SOC screens for Platform and Application squads) – include Azure dashboards.
Maintain the NGINX platform.
Portima is using NGINX WAF system.
Understand and maintain this environment.
