ABAKUS IT-Solutions – Senior Data Manager and Engineer
Join a groundbreaking initiative to reshape the future of data management. We are looking for a dynamic, skilled, and experienced Senior Data Manager and Engineer to contribute to a transformative program.
What you’ll do
Lead data governance initiatives, including master data and metadata management, ensuring systems align with the complex needs of our projects.
Develop and execute data transformation, integration, and quality processes to move from descriptive to predictive data analysis.
Manage and optimize data pipelines (both batch and real-time) while ensuring data security and seamless integration with cloud platforms.
Design and implement architectural data solutions, enabling efficient data reporting and visualization, primarily using Power BI.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to elevate the organization’s data maturity and develop impactful insights for stakeholders.
Support the transformation of the organization into a data-driven entity, working hand-in-hand with both technical and non-technical teams.
Key skills and experience
10+ years of experience in data management and engineering in complex organizations.
Expertise in data architecture, pipelines, integration, and governance, with hands-on experience in both On-Prem and cloud environments.
Proficiency in cloud technologies, with at least 5 years of experience in setting up and using data platforms.
Strong grasp of predictive and prescriptive data analytics.
Proficient in Power BI for data visualization.
Ability to communicate complex data solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in agile teams.
Languages – Fluent in at least two of the following: Dutch, French, English. Knowledge of all three is a plus.
