IT manager – Linux architect M/F
A client in the IT Services is currently looking for a IT Manager – Linux Architect (Luxembourg – CDI)
The company is located in Luxembourg with 20 to 25 employees. You will head the IT Team and report to the CTO. This IT Manager position is therefore opened, and you will work closely with the Development and Infrastructure Teams.
Your Responsibilities :
Managerial tasks
You be the right arm of the current CTO
You oversee and inspire a group of IT technicians and engineers.
You assign duties and organize the team’s workload.
You carry out regular performance assessments and promote skills development.
You encourage cooperation and communication between internal departments.
You lead projects related to infrastructure development
Technical tasks
You ensure that networks and systems are available (incident management).
You be in charge of the maintenance of servers, networks, and databases.
You are in charge of making sure that IT infrastructure is secure and compliant.
In accordance with the strategic requirements of the business, you will suggest and carry out infrastructure optimizations and enhancements.
You take part in initiatives including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
You debug complicated technological issues and provide level 3 help if necessary.
You are working on technical interventions, settings, and document procedures.
Required skills for this role
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Technical Architect and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Team Management.
You are fluent in English (MANDATORY)
You have a good knowledge on Linux Server and Kubernetes (MANDATORY) and on several of these products: AD, Network, Cisco, Ansible, Security…
You are autonomous, solution oriented and a good communicator
