Senior Economy & System Designer – Monetisation & Game Economy
We are looking for a talented Senior Economy and System Designer interested in elevating our games Monetisation and Game economy experience. You will get the opportunity to be part of a great team, working with an industry leading and genre defining game with millions active players.
Your Role Within our Kingdom:
As a Senior Economy & System designer in the Monetisation & Economy team, you will be responsible for creating an expressive gameplay experience that unlocks meaningful player experience. You are a disruptive design thinker that is not afraid of challenging the status quo to help us to develop our monetisation mechanisms and our game economy to delight our players and grow our business.
Key responsibilities include:
Your role within the Kingdom
Analyze, refine and develop our game’s economy utilizing game economy models to guide overall development of new features and system development
Analyse, define and lead the tuning adjustments of existing features and system
Support the shaping of the economy vision and strategy and actively communicate and influence the wider business in order to drive through changes
Come up with solutions to complex economy challenges that will delight players and drive business value.
Work through the product development cycle in a product trio to build the best economies and systems to deliver the desired player experience and KPIs
Collaborate with cross-functional feature teams on their system design, economy balancing, and telemetry implementation
Draw product insights from quantitative and qualitative analysis to both balance the economy and innovate with new solutions and mechanics that enhance the player experience and drive business value
Contribute to an active community of game designers, giving and receiving feedback and helping each other improve their work and techniques
Skills to create thrills
Extensive experience from Free-to-play mobile games
Experience to lead and drive larger design projects – preferable in live product environments
Strong experience designing and tuning complex game economies that include multiple meta-features and currencies
A strong foundation in math, analytics, economics, sociology, psychology, or user research
Ability to synthesize feedback from team members and rapidly iterate on designs
Excels in communicating and presenting game design concepts and strategies with stakeholders in a clear, detailed manner, through strong written and verbal skills
