Are you a visionary IT architect with a passion for designing cutting-edge infrastructure solutions?
We are on the hunt for a talented Lead Infrastructure Architect to join our esteemed client in Brussels and take the helm of their IT infrastructure transformation!
What You’ll Do
Infrastructure design: Craft robust IT infrastructure blueprints that include servers, Storage, networks, and data centers. Ensure alignment with business goals and scalability.
Scalability & performance: Design systems that grow with the organization. Optimize performance and resource allocation to meet demanding requirements.
Security: Implement top-tier EC security guidelines. Manage network security, access controls, and encryption to maintain rigorous compliance.
Virtualization & cloud integration: Leverage Virtualization technologies and integrate on-premises infrastructure with cloud services as required.
Disaster recovery & business continuity: Develop resilient strategies for disaster recovery and business continuity, including backup solutions and failover mechanisms.
Automation: Streamline infrastructure management with automation tools and scripting languages for consistency and efficiency.
Networking: Oversee network architecture design and management, ensuring secure and efficient communication across the IT ecosystem.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT professionals to ensure seamless operation and integration across systems.
Technology evaluation: Stay at the ForeFront of emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance infrastructure.
What we’re looking for
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Professional certifications like Togaf or Cisco Certified Architect (Ccar) are highly desirable.
Experience: 10+ years in IT infrastructure design and architecture, particularly with large-scale projects and complex implementations.
Skills:
Deep understanding of servers, Storage, network infrastructure, and data centers.
Proficiency in Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware).
Strong grasp of IT security principles, network security, and encryption.
Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible) and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
Knowledge of cloud integration and architecture.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP, CCNP, CISSP) are a plus.
Clearance: Secret EU/EU Secret Level required.
