Hays – Cybersecurity & Network Engineer
Hays Luxembourg is looking for a Cyber Security and Network Engineer
As a Cyber Security & Network Engineer, your role involves delivering cutting-edge security solutions for projects and services to our valued customers.
You’ll work within allocated budgets, adhere to detailed specifications, and meet project schedules.
Here are the key responsibilities
Solution Design and Implementation:
Create, design, and implement secure solutions for intricate, diverse systems.
Ensure the efficient and effective operation of present and future platforms by maintaining robust cybersecurity measures.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
Conduct thorough assessments of threats, risks, and vulnerabilities.
Develop and implement appropriate countermeasures to safeguard our systems and customer solutions.
Exploring New Opportunities: Stay at the ForeFront of technology by identifying opportunities in quantum communication infrastructure, navigation, emergency response, GovSatCom, and other emerging TechCom services and technologies.
Collaboration with External Partners: Engage with external stakeholders, including customers, NGOs, governmental bodies, investment partners, and vendors.
Proposal Leadership: Lead clients’ proposal activities from a Cyber Security Perspective throughout various stages.
Profile
Master’s degree in ICT, Cyber Security or similar
Minimum 5 years’ of experience in cyber security engineering and implementation of ICT and networking systems
English speaker, French/German is a plus
Willingness to undergo a ESA/EU/NATO secret clearance process
Experience with security principles, methodologies, cryptography, information security systems and Firewall configuration
Familiarity in one or more of the following topics:
Sales engineering
Knowledge of performance, risk, cost and schedule analysis
Software and System Development Lifecycle
Knowledge in or more the following technologies, frameworks and concepts
Key Management Systems
ECSS standards, ISO standards
NIS2 directive
Cisco, Juniper or CheckPoint systems
Certifications such as CCNSA, CCNP, JNCIP, JNCIS…
Experience in Red/Blue team activities is nice to have.
