C# NET WPF Real Time GUI Developer – Rates eTrading – Investment Bank

Description de la mission

This is a developer role to work on the rates products electronic trading platform. This platform underpins the electronic rates activity including pricing, hedging and execution.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
– Extensive experience in C# .NET Framework
– Experience working with real time, multithreaded applications
– Experience in working with monitoring tools.
– Familiarity with IOC/dependency injection.
– Experience working with WPF applications.
– Nice-to-have (non-mandatory): DB experience
– Nice-to-have (non-mandatory): React/Angular or similar web development framework
Skills & Qualifications
– Top academic background, strong degree in mathematics/physics/computer science from a leading academic institution
– Outstanding implementation skills in an Object Orientated programming language (backed up by significant programming experience in an industrial context working on large projects)
– Significant prior professional experience in C# applied to fixed income electronic trading Systems
– Strong knowledge of fixed income instruments, and associated trading workflows : Government Bonds, Interest Swaps, Repos, Futures and options
– Knowledge of fixed income electronic trading venues and associated dataflows : market, static and trade data
– Innovative with a start up mentality
– Active interest in design of system architecture
– Interest in writing clear, maintainable code
– Excellent problem solving/debugging skills
– Good understanding of concurrent application design
– Good communication skills in English (other languages advantageous)
– Pragmatic approach to ensuring delivery on a timely basis
– Previous automatic trading experience is not required, but could be positive (eg experience of order lifecycle)
