Salary: £650-750 inside IR35

Hybrid working environment (3 days per week in the office).
The Opportunity: A leading buyside firm is seeking an experienced DevOps Contractor for a 6-month contract, starting immediately. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in the office.
The Role: As a DevOps Contractor, you will play a crucial role in our client’s DevOps team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing our infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and ensure efficient delivery of software products.
Leverage GitLab as our primary repository for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
Utilize orchestration languages like Terraform or Pulumi to manage and provision infrastructure as code.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
Manage and monitor SRE systems, including log observability, Application Performance Monitoring (APM), infrastructure monitoring, and security.
Proficient in working with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
Experienced with AWS Cloud services and infrastructure management.
Hands-on experience with Docker containerization technology.
Familiarity with artifact repositories such as Nexus or Artifactory.
Qualifications and Experience:
Junior/mid-level experience in DevOps or related roles.
Proven hands-on experience with the mentioned technologies and tools.
Strong understanding of modern DevOps practices, automation, and infrastructure as code principles.
Experience in deploying and managing applications in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
