We are helping our client, a bank in Zurich by looking for a Platform Engineer API and Streaming platformsTasks

Research latest trends in API gateways and streaming platforms
Analyze current platform capabilities and identify areas for improvement
Develop a roadmap for enhancing API Gateway and Streaming platform
Define objectives, goals, and required resources
Implement improvements based on roadmap
Enhance security, performance, and scalability
Establish QA processes and conduct thorough testing
Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms

Requirements

Proven experience of working with APIs and streaming as a user or owner (preferably as a platform engineer)
Entrepreneurial mind-set, your ideas are welcome,
High quality awareness
Take pride of your work and strive to lead by example
Thirst for knowledge and passionate about spreading it with your colleagues
Structured and goal-oriented way of working
Kafka and/or Apigee experience is very welcome
Fluency in English
