Network engineer junior M/F
For an industrial group well implemented in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Network Engineer – Junior that will join the infrastructure team of our client. They are open to welcome a junior profile, the most important for them will be the soft skills of the candidate. They are looking for a professional keen to learn and develops its skills in Network (and Security) and that will be focused on increasing its technical skills. Luxembourg – Permanent contract – inhouse.
You’ll be tasked with the upkeep and management of their extensive network infrastructure, which is primarily Cisco-based. Their operations span the globe, with their central office situated in Luxembourg. You will have the chance to work from the design to the installation to the maintenance and support of switch and routers.
Your missions
Assisting with tasks related to their datacenter network in a high-availability operational environment.
Conducting disaster recovery procedures
Ensuring network configuration backups are up-to-date and consistent.
Coordinating, planning, and delivering network equipment updates as per our patch management plan.
Serving as a second-level engineering escalation point for their Service Desk team.
Contributing to the active monitoring of the network and responding to related alerts
Providing support and guidance to local IT coordinators
Your profile
You have at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science
You have minimum 2 years of experience in Infrastructure (internships + first professional experience)
You have a specific interest to work in Network and your goal is to grow your technical skills.
You have a first experience with Cisco or Fortinet products.
You are fluent in French and have a good level of English (mandatory)
Your benefits
Annual gross salary on 12 months up to 55’000€
