Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with experience in C# to join our client’s OTC Derivatives business unit. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions critical to the trading and risk management processes within the investment banking domain. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design robust software solutions.
Develop and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
Utilize C# knowledge to integrate systems and develop cross-platform solutions.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in hands on Java development.
Experience working with C# and ability to leverage C# skills for Java-C# integration.
Solid understanding of OTC derivatives products and trading processes within the investment banking sector.
Experience working within a consultancy or financial services environment is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
