This client is based in Europe – but the role can be completly remote

This is for a 9 month contract

Description:

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an LG/Samsung TV OS expert to join our project team.

the successful candidate will have the following skills:

In-depth knowledge of webOS and Tizen OS.

Web-Based Application Architecture:

Experience with web-based application architecture, both hosted and local, with proficiency in ReactJS.

Debugging and Issue Solving:

Ability to debug and solve issues related to LG/Samsung TV software, hardware, and video players.

Familiarity with shaka player, remotes, hardware/software playback, sound management, video player buffering, iframe track FF/REV, performance, and security.

TV/OS Specifics:

Understanding of LG/Samsung TV OS specifics, including features like « continue watching, » « recommendations swimlanes, » and other OS-specific functionalities.

Knowledge of in-app purchases within the TV OS environment.

Application Packaging:

Proficient in packaging LG/Samsung applications for deployment.

Application Verification Process:

Experience with the application verification process, especially within LG/Samsung shops.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the EPAM team to lead the Front-End part of the project.
* Contribute expertise in webOS and Tizen OS to ensure successful integration for the Lithuanian market.
* Debug and resolve issues related to LG/Samsung TV software, hardware, and video players.
* Implement and optimize OS-specific features, such as « continue watching » and « recommendations swimlanes. »
* Package LG/Samsung applications efficiently for deployment.
* Engage in the application verification process within LG/Samsung shops.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as an expert in webOS and Tizen OS.
* Strong background in web-based application architecture, particularly using ReactJS.
* Demonstrated ability to debug and solve complex issues related to LG/Samsung TV software and hardware.
* Familiarity with video player technologies, sound management, and performance optimization.
* Knowledge of LG/Samsung TV OS specifics and in-app purchase integration.
* Experience in packaging and deploying applications for LG/Samsung TVs.
* Previous involvement in the application verification process within LG/Samsung shops.
