Scope:
• Design, build and maintain efficient ETL architecture
• Provide deep insights into the technical processes when distributing data in a strategic way between different IT systems
• Identification, design and implementation of internal operational improvements such as:
– Automating manual processes
– Optimizing data delivery
– Re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability

• Develop data systems to achieve greater functionality
• Establish and improve efficient SDLC processes based on a modern toolset (Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps)
• Improve the platforms’ visibility and transparency by designing and building data visualizations to be integrated into interactive dashboards
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to setup new data interfaces
• Facilitate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery within an agile setup
• Serve as a liaison between the product owners and development team to ensure that all targets and requirements are met

Further details on Scope:
(a) Work with external service partners to translate requirements into functional
process design, including the hand-off’s between both the partner and the
internal BAU teams.

(b) Deliver technical and data integration solutions for various Small Change
Initiatives, including database and application development.

(c) Translate functional requirements into technical specs supported by a
business analyst

(d) Technical design and build of several interfaces and data feeds for Investment, based on an existing technical ETL (Extract Transform Load)
framework using Informatica Powercenter/Data Integration Hub technology

(e) Design, implement and improve the Powercenter and Data Integration Hub environment to optimize usability, system stability and spread of the usage of the data integration framework.

(f) Create and maintain appropriate documentation using existing tools such as Jira/confluence and applying IT Investment/Operations standard. All development work must be captured in Jira.

(g) Liaise and cooperate with the internal IT teams to ensure any data interface changes are understood, the changes are documented and successfully executed.

(h) Build credible, trusted advisor relationships with key project stakeholders
across all levels of the organization.

(i) Ensure alignment with Enterprise architecture and Global Data Services for all
interface solutions.

(j) Analyze and understand business processes and requirements, design ITsolutions based on the analysis, assist business and IT-department during the implementation phase.

(k) Support test planning, management and execution. Document and execute functional test plans. Partner with the end-user community to support the documentation and execution of UAT test cases.

(l) Transition of L2 and Run activities to TCS and CTS.

Requirements:
• Seniority: Medior (to Senior) – relevant experience is advantage, but Project Management/Leadership is not in scope
• Extensive relevant experience and track record in Data Engineering
• Profound experience in data programming: Python, SQL Server, Informatica Power Center, Linux shell scripting
• Proven track record in visualization skills: UI development (preferred), Power BI (preferred)
• Good knowledge of SDLC tools like Github/Bitbucket (Git based), Jenkins and Azure DevOps
• Experience with Atlassian Jira (including customization) and Confluence (preferred)
• Ideally proven track record as a scrum master, agile certificates, collaboration in agile projects in a period of ideally at least 2 years
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and willingness to excel as a team and individually
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in English required, German is a plus
• Service Provision: Remote
