Our client, Deutsche Bank, is a global banking business with strong roots in Germany and operations in over 70 countries. Their large but focused footprint gives them an established position in Europe plus a significant presence in the Americas and Asia Pacific. Deutsche Bank offer their clients commercial and investment banking, retail banking and transaction banking as well as ground-breaking asset and wealth management products and services.

On behalf of Deutsche Bank, AMS are now looking for a Product Owner to work in their technology team based in London on a PAYE basis for a initial 6 months.
Project Overview:
The project sits within Deutsche Banks credit risk technology team and the Product Owner will help build front office applications used in the enterprise portfolio risk management framework. The project will also involve building tools to identify risk, building warehouses, identify data, reporting and dashboarding tools.
The Agile Product Owner is accountable for maximising the value of products delivered with their multidisciplinary agile team, the products may be purely IT-technical, non-technical or a combination.

Key responsibilities:

Define and prioritise development of the product in collaboration with all stakeholders, demonstrate functionality to stakeholders gather feedback
Work with the teams in building and owning a product structure of epics, features and stories
Adjust features and priorities dynamically based on user feedback and realignment of business demands
Accept or reject features delivered by development teams during sprint cycles and keeping customers/users informed of status
Support the Product Manager and Subject Matter Experts for successful User Acceptance Testing and product adoption by business
Contribute to team standards, engineering best practices and quality standards, and help ensure the team meets them
Skills and Experience:
Strong experience in Product Ownership, structured business analysis methods and tools within Compliance / Financial Services and experience working in a scaled Agile environment
Ability to think strategically and anticipate user needs on a long term basis in order to build a continuous vision for the product
Ability to deliver incremental features that correspond to a roadmap and vision and ability to communicate information effectively with people from varying backgrounds including technical teams, users and business stakeholders
