Client Details

Our client is a large international Crypto Custodian, looking to expand and grow in the regulated European market. We are looking to hire a CISO (m/f/d) with Crypto experience or Crypto enthusiasm ASAP.

Description

* Reporting directly to the CEO. Serving as the point of contact for internal & external stakeholders with regards to all Information & IT Security related questions
* Ensuring the security, integrity, and confidentiality of digital assets and aligning security initiatives with business goals
* Fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.
* Strategic Leadership: defining and executing the company’s information security vision, strategy, and policies
* Risk Management: identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks related to crypto custody services, implementing risk-based controls and ensuring compliance with industry standards
* Security Architecture: designing and maintaining a secure infrastructure for crypto storage and transactions. Evaluating and selecting cutting-edge security technologies
* Incident Response: developing and testing incident response plans. Leading investigations into security incidents and breaches
* Regulatory Compliance: staying informed about crypto regulations and compliance requirements. Working closely with the compliance team

Profile

* Reporting directly to the CEO. Serving as the point of contact for internal & external stakeholders with regards to all Information & IT Security related questions
* Several years of experience in information security as an information security officer, ideally already as a CISO
* Crypto Expertise: deep understanding of blockchain technology, crypto assets, and custodial services. Ideally already worked in this area, alternatively a strong personal interest and the wish to move into the Crypto industry
* Ideally, relevant certifications, like CISSP and CISM
* Fluent English, as well as ideally some German. Yet, English is the main work language
* Strong work ethics, accustomed to international work styles / ready to work in an international environment across time zones and cultures
* Proactive personality with drive and a can do mentality in a fast-paced environment
