Head of IT Systems

We are working with a global educational partnership to recruit for an interim Head of IT Systems on an initial 6 month contract. The post holder will be involved in the management and operations of several IT systems, the maintenance and continuous development of systems, and managing complex & senior stakeholder relationships across their various partners.

Rate: Negotiable DOE (inside IR35)
Duration: 6 months
Location: Remote working (occasional travel to London/Cambridge)

Responsibilities include:
Managing day to day technology operations (including but not limited to infrastructure, identity access management, cyber security)
Working collaboratively with partners and other stakeholders to develop IT systems strategy
Leading the delivery of IT system projects
Managing operations of IT systems and ensuring SLAs and security requirements are continuously exceeded
The ongoing development, testing, and transition of systems into a sustainable agile and continuous improvement pattern
Governing technology through the implementation of a regulatory framework
The successful candidate will have:
Significant experience of developing technology strategies
Demonstrable experience leading technology change programmes or projects
Strong experience of successfully leading day to day IT service operations and support, preferably in a high volume, cloud-based environment
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Experience in educational or regulatory focused organisations
