Quant developer /analyst will support with the UK bank levy reporting. It’s a regulatory metric which they need to compute in their quantitative library.
The job involves working with the business managers which currently own this metric, gather the business requirements and then implement it in a clean way.
Looking for a strong C# Quant Developer with some financial knowledge.
They must have the ability to work autonomously/stand on their own two feet.
At best the candidate should know 2-3 financial products in detail.
They will need someone that is detail orientated, has the ability to ask the right questions and always making sure there is no misunderstanding.
The role sits in Quant Research – 100 people sitting on the trading floor. 3.5 people have been assigned this project.
ROLE IN DETAIL
We are looking for a senior C# developer to enhance our internal Resources and Financing analytics library. You will be starting a new project extending it to calculate additional metrics for UK Bank Levy reporting.
The role involves working closely with front office business managers who will provide the functional requirements and guidance. You will need to analyse these requirements, interpret them technically and design and implement solutions in C#.
The role gives exposure to all financial products traded within Global Markets. It comes with high visibility from the senior management as they are closely monitoring this new project.
You will also be one of the main architects working on a wider transformation program – to build a calculation chain covering all scarce resources. The objective of which is to deliver common algorithms and views to both the front office trading and the Finance department.
This is a well-diversified position that will allow you to expand your financial knowledge whilst continuing to develop technical skills from coding, to software architecture, Datamodelling and project management.
