Rate: Up to 635 pd via Umbrella
Duration: 12 months initially

Location and working policy: Glasgow, 3 days per week in office
Requirements: Fibre Channel, ISCSI, SCSI, NFS, CIFS, POSIX, Object Storage, SAS, SATA, FLASH, Python, Java, SDLC, SQL, Storage
A bank are looking to hire a cross-over skillset for a contract Software Developer to work on creating highly available and scalable solutions to handle the group storage repository including storage provisioning, monitoring, alerting, auditing, inventorying etc.
As well as architecting the storage solution with third party supplies, you’ll also develop in-house applications that will become part of the technology platform.
Requirements
Java and/or Python development experience
Hands on experience with storage technologies
Nice to have – not essential
System architecture experience with UNIX/RHEL and/or Windows server
Container environments and cloud environments
