IT Business Analyst (IT BA)- FULL REMOTE

Our client in Switzerland (Zurich), a global leader in the finance environment, is looking for a Business Analyst until 31.12.2023 (extension- possible). Fully remote work from Switzerland or EU is possible.

Responsibilities:

– Participate in agile ceremonies with the development partners

– Provide business operations support for the quarterly financial close process

o Analyze reconciliation exceptions, documentation for stakeholders

o Prepare quarterly close, ensure all mapping updates are complete prior to close

o Coordinate and communicate issues and problem resolutions with customers

o Continuous improvement, reviewing processes and initiating improvements

– Provide business operations support for incoming and outgoing technical payments

o Coordinate and communicate issues and problem resolution with customers

o Continuous improvement, reviewing processes and initiating improvements

– Assist business operations for the investment data interface

o Coordinate and communicate issues and problem resolution with customers

o Continuous improvement, reviewing processes and initiating improvements

– Analyze production incidents and provide problem resolution, communicating with Finance or IT customers

Profile:

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

– Proven business analysis skills

– Basic SQL skills

– Commitment to data quality, attention to detail, and solution oriented

– Experience in at least one of the agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, etc. and knowledge of agile project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence

– Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft tools such as PowerPoint and Excel

– Ability to work under pressure and a high degree of flexibility

– Ability to work independently and willingness to learn new technologies

– Background in finance is a plus

– Experience with SAP / S4 Hana is a plus
