Cronos Europa – Senior Test Engineer (Part – Time 50%)

We are currently looking for a Senior Test Engineer to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.
Part-time (50%)
Freelance contract
Duration of mission: September 2026 – December 2027
Hybrid (minimum 3 days/week on-site, up to 40% remote)
Responsibilities
Analyse requirements, user stories, and functional specifications in close collaboration with Business Analysts and solution owners.
Design, prepare, maintain, and execute manual test cases.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
Execute test cycles, analyse results, report defects, and validate fixes.
Prepare and maintain test data, test documentation, and test reports.
Support release activities and go/no-go decisions.
Contribute to system integration testing and hypercare phases.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external service providers.
Review and challenge test scripts and test data delivered by suppliers.
Ensure the overall quality and stability of business-critical applications.
Technical skills
7 years of experience
Strong experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Proven experience in test design and test execution within cross-functional teams.
Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira).
Ability to document, analyse, and troubleshoot issues.
ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
Experience with enterprise software packages.
Good understanding of testing methodologies and QA best practices.
Experience in the financial sector and/or fund industry is considered a strong asset.
