BMC Helix Platform Administrator – Part Time

We are looking for a BMC Helix Platform Administrator – Part Time (1/5)
The BMC Helix Platform Administrator is responsible for the administration, availability, performance, security, and continuous improvement of the BMC Helix platform hosted in the customer’s private cloud environment. The role ensures the stability and operational excellence of ITSM services and related business processes.
The contractor shall provide the following services:
1. Platform Administration
Administer BMC Helix environments (Production, Acceptance, Development).
Manage platform configurations and technical settings.
Maintain technical and operational documentation.
Monitor software licensing and compliance requirements.
BMC Deployment Engine (Jenkins, Harbor repo)
Manage the application lifecycle and continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Operations and Support
Provide support.
Investigate and resolve complex incidents and technical issues.
Participate in Problem Management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Coordinate escalations with BMC Software and other vendors when required.
3. Monitoring and Performance Management
Integration with the client monitoring tool
Monitor the overall health of the platform, including:
Application servers
Databases
Middleware components
Integrations and interfaces
Analyze system performance and implement optimization initiatives.
Define, track, and report technical KPIs and SLAs.
4. Change and Release Management
Plan, coordinate, and execute:
Patches
Hotfixes
Upgrades
Version migrations
Perform technical validation and testing before production deployments.
5. Security and Compliance
Apply and maintain customer security standards and policies.
Perform platform hardening activities.
Manage technical accounts and access rights.
Support security audits, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives.
6. Backup and Restore and Disaster Recovery
Implement and monitor backup procedures.
Validate and test restoration processes.
Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises.
Ensure compliance with agreed Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).
7. Integrations and Automation
Maintain integrations with:
Active Directory / LDAP
Monitoring solutions
CMDB platforms
Third-party ITSM tools
REST APIs and external services

English Full professional proficiency
