Advisory Key – Data Business Analyst – Risk Reporting
As part of a major regulatory and internal reporting transformation, a leading financial services group is modernizing its Risk data and reporting landscape at group level. The program focuses on enhancing data collection, transformation, and reporting capabilities using a Microsoft-based data platform and best-in-class risk reporting solutions.
Advisory Key is supporting this transformation and is looking to onboard experienced Data Business Analysts – Risk Reporting to join our consulting team and contribute to this strategic initiative.You will work at the intersection of Risk, Data, and IT, playing a key role in defining business rules, ensuring data quality, and supporting testing and user acceptance activities within a complex regulatory environment.
Your role
As a consultant, you will be responsible for:
Collecting and formalizing Risk business requirements and business rules
Defining detailed data transformation rules for Risk reporting
Designing and documenting functional and data quality control use cases
Executing functional testing and data quality controls
Preparing and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including coordination and issue tracking
Collaborating closely with business, Risk, and IT stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant, and high-quality reporting deliverables
Your profile
Strong experience in banking or financial services consulting
Solid background in Risk Reporting (e.g. Irrbb and related frameworks)
Hands-on experience with industry-standard Risk reporting tools
Proven experience in functional testing and test execution
Strong understanding of data quality, controls, and reconciliation processes
Fluent in French and English
Nice to have:
Experience with Microsoft Data Platform (SQL, Azure, etc.)
Exposure to Power BI reporting and dashboards
Experience in regulatory reporting and data transformation programs
