Advisory Key – Data Engineer – Risk & Data Transformation (Consulting Assignment)
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer for a high-impact Risk & Data transformation program. The role focuses on modernizing data ingestion, transformation, and reporting pipelines using Microsoft-based data platforms.
As a consultant, you will implement robust data pipelines, apply transformation rules, support testing, and deploy developments, ensuring high-quality Risk reporting.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain data pipelines in Azure Synapse Analytics for ingestion of multiple data sources
Implement transformation rules within the Microsoft data platform
Perform technical unit testing and ensure data quality
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including bug fixing and change requests
Deploy developments to production environments using CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliable and compliant reporting data
Required skills & experience
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL
Strong knowledge of ETL patterns and data engineering best practices
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment
Solid understanding of data quality and control frameworks
Fluent in French and English
Previous experience in Risk or financial data reporting is a plus
