Junior On-shift IT Operator
Position: Junior On-shift IT Operator

Location: Luxembourg
Duration: 6 months (flexible shifts)
Languages: English required

Role Overview:

Join the infrastructure team within Production & Infrastructure Services as a Junior On-shift IT Operator. You will handle the day-to-day management, administration, and troubleshooting of multiple IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical and application support
Automate IT administrative tasks
Deploy software to test and production environments
Manage incidents and resolve problems
Provision and maintain test environments
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Understanding of databases (Oracle, MS-SQL) and operating systems (Linux, Windows)
Scripting skills (Unix Shell, Perl)
Basic administration of application servers (WebSphere, MQSeries)
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure
Flexibility for shift work, including weekends
Experience:
1-2 years preferred, but beginners with relevant IT experience through study or personal projects will be considered.
Shift Pattern (21/5):
Early: 06:00-14:30
Late: 10:00-18:30
Night: 18:30-03:00
