Database Administrator
We are currently looking for a Database Administrator to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.
Responsibilities:
Oracle database design and data modelling (logical and physical).
Design and creation of Oracle database schemas based on best practices for performance and maintainability.
Participation in the design and implementation of Oracle CoP (Cloud on Prem) databases.
Development and maintenance of PL/SQL objects.
Database performance tuning and optimization.
PostgreSQL database design and basic administration.
Data analysis and data modelling.
Databases administration tasks: backups, exports/imports, batch scripting, index rebuilding.
Operation support during testing, deployment and production.
Experience with cloud databases, including Microsoft Azure.
Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers.
Production of software design documents.
Participation in technical working groups and progress meetings.
Collaboration with developers and project leaders on database-related topics.
Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.
Technical skills:
Architecture best practices and patterns (UML)
Microservices and architectures in the cloud (Azure SQL Database, Cloud components)
Application design and modelling tools (UML, Data Modelling)
Enterprise architecture (UML, Data Modelling)
Business process analysis (UML, Data Modelling)
Relational DBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL Database, PL/SQL)
Interoperability tech (web services, middleware, SOA, event architecture, Shell Scripting, PL/SQL)
Profile:
At least 5 years of experience in the position
Bachelor’s degree
English fluent
