We’re looking for a Platforms Specialist who is an experienced and skilled professional in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced platform solutions. This role involves working with technologies like databases, middleware, virtualization, and containers while using tools such as Splunk and Kubernetes to ensure seamless performance and monitoring.
What You’ll Do
As a Platforms Specialist, you’ll take ownership of :
Platform Architecture : Designing, installing, and configuring solutions such as databases, middleware, virtualization, and containers.
Automation & Orchestration : Implementing and operating tools to streamline and enhance platform operations.
Monitoring & Reporting : Using advanced tools like Splunk to manage platform health and performance.
Issue Resolution : Troubleshooting and solving platform challenges efficiently.
Shared Services : Managing software like OpenShift, Splunk, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
Backup & Performance Optimization : Ensuring robust backups, conducting restores, and fine-tuning performance.
Documentation : Crafting and maintaining technical documents and operational procedures.
Your Skills & Expertise
We’re looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who brings:
Proven ability in detailed platform design and implementation.
Strong experience with search and logging tools like Splunk and ElasticSearch.
Expertise in DB, middleware, virtualization, and container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
A knack for performance tuning and analysis.
What You Bring
Experience : At least 10 years in platform engineering, with demonstrated expertise across a variety of technologies.
Knowledge : In-depth understanding of platform management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
