Deutsche Börse Group – C++ Software Engineer
The Settlement department is responsible of real-time banking applications in the post-trade processing area of Clearstream/DBAG. The application landscape consists of several critical C++ and Java applications which are interacting with large databases and which are communicating with numerous financial institutions worldwide.
Your responsibilities
Broad range of development activities including (not limited to):
Providing technical expertise and guidance for On-premise / Cloud computing
Implementing technical designs with a focus on security, performance, scalability, maintainability aspects and applications decoupling
Planning, organising and supporting all activities related to a software lifecycle including deliverables and interactions with all project stakeholders
Analysing production system issues/efficiencies and providing remediation/improvement planning and assessing the related required work effort
Achieving compliance with internal and external standards applicable to the design, development and documentation of solutions
Your profile
University degree (master or diploma) in IT
Very good skills and 3-10 years practical experience of DevOps oriented programming in C++, relational databases, SQL, Linux scripts, GitHub, messaging (JMS, AMQ) and XML processing
Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand, structure and explain complex topics to various audiences
Leadership, thorough teamwork focus and strong communication skills
Ability to meet challenging project deadlines and deliver in a fast-moving oriented environment
Ability to work across several development streams
Proficiency in written and spoken English
An experience in C++ application profiling is an added asset
