Product Owner – Banking Transformation

Context:
A major financial institution is driving an ambitious digital and organizational transformation program. To support this journey, we are looking for a senior Product Owner with strong expertise in the banking sector and a proven track record in Agile transformation. The role will involve managing complex regulatory environments while ensuring the successful delivery of innovative digital solutions.

Responsibilities:
Lead the transition from Waterfall to Agile methodologies within banking programs
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, translating requirements into actionable deliverables
Manage and prioritize the product backlog in line with regulatory, business, and strategic priorities
Oversee the full product lifecycle: design, development, delivery, and follow-up
Drive Risk, Compliance & Audit initiatives to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations
Organize and facilitate stakeholder workshops, steering committees, and roadmap presentations
Monitor delivery progress, ensuring milestones and KPIs are met
Analyze existing business processes and propose digital transformation opportunities

Profile required:
5 to 10 years of experience as Product Owner in the banking and financial services sector
Strong knowledge of banking operations, regulations, and compliance frameworks
Proven expertise in Risk Management, Compliance, and Audit practices
Agile methodologies in complex environments
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving
Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus
