DESCRIPTION
In support of the Corporate IT team, the Service Provider will supply a full-time Subject Matter Expert Consultant to provide the following services
• Drive this project with the support of IT and a Project Manager. This includes driving discussions with both internal stakeholders as well as IT providers and ensure on-time delivery from providers.
    • Creation of an SAM Policy, based on peer institutions SAM policies, including related processes for:
    o License management
    o Asset management
    o Budget management
    o Invoice management
    o Contract management
    • Definition of the overall resource requirements (people and software) to operate the newly defined SAM Policy
    • Drive implementation of the approved SAM policy and processes assets, budget, invoices, contracts,
• Drive the CMDB update and create relevant reports for KPIs

DELIVERABLES
The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following deliverables :
• Draft the Project Charter using client template. The Project Charter will define the scope, timeline and budget of this project. The Project Charter will be delivered within 6 weeks of contract start and will list in more detail the activities to define and implement SAM policy and their deadlines.
• Create the SAM Policy
• Drive CMDB update for data, processes and related applications from client providers to have up to date visibility of all assets
• Reports configured for KPIs
• Periodical reporting to project stakeholders and internal PMO
• Define a plan to further enhance SAM at client

DESIRED CONSULTANT PROFILE
The Consultant will have the following profile:
Technical skills:
• Strong knowledge of IT Configuration and Software Asset Management processes
• Solution oriented mind set & able to provide recommendations to improve the current tools used by client and/or recommend better solutions
• Familiar with the processes that consume CMDB data e.g. Incident, Problem, SDLC, Asset, and Change
• Knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, SCCM, NexThink is an advantage
• Previous experience in managing Corporate IT projects
