Data Quality Analyst

Candidate must be advanced in Excel use and analysing / correcting data via robust methods and high levels of accuracy. As data is concerning digital topics, a strong knowledge of technical and business digital aspects would be of benefit.

Additional resource is required to examine data held related to owned digital assets, identify errors and omissions and execute a clean up of all data

We maintain a global inventory of all digital assets (domain names, websites, mobile apps and social media accounts).

We have identified issues with the quality of the data, and a project clean up exercise is needed to quickly clean the data.

The inventory is externally hosted, so analysis of this data is performed entirely in Excel.

Each business owns their own data.  Correcting the data often involves agreeing changes with each entity, making the changes in bulk and tracking completion.

We need someone who fully understands the precise differences between domains and websites etc. and has enough digital expertise to identify incorrect data unaided.

Processes need to be developed and documented, along with reporting and tracking, so that management can be kept informed of progress and overall quality.

A high level of Excel expertise is needed, using pivot tables and creating macros or advanced formula to rapidly identify the data issues.
