Administrateur Proxy http VARNISH

Contexte de la mission :

Notre client recherche 1 profil avec une forte expertise et un savoir-faire dans les proxys HTTP et plus particulièrement Varnish Software et ses modules, ses configurations VCL, etc.

 Le profil doit également être conscient des connaissances de pointe concernant les configurations d’en-tête HTTP, WAF, DNS et CDN.

MISSIONS

Le travail quotidien sera axé sur la mise à jour des configurations VCL existantes, l’ajout de nouvelles fonctionnalités, l’optimisation du rapport de cache, l’explication et le partage des bonnes pratiques.

Compétences

Varnish knowledge

Experience with Varnish Plus modules

Experience with Maintenance in Operational Condition of Varnish software.
Developing, maintaining and organisizing VCL configurations

HTTP Toolsets

Excellent knowledge of various reverse-proxy (layer 7 load-balancing) tools

Proven experience in using Web Application Firewalls (WAF)

Excellent knowledge of HTTP headers

Continuous Integration & Devops

Proven experience in deploying heavy traffic Apps without service interruption

Proven experience in using Varnish configurations in a CI / CD workflow with Github

Additional knowledge

Knowledge of tricky DNS configurations

Knowledge of SSL certificat life-cycle management

Knowledge of complex architectures using a CDN and a reverse-proxies (Akamai and Varnish would be best)

Additional Skills

Ability to work remotely using Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban)

VCS

Use of Git / Gitflow as a Versioning control system / Develpment workflow

Language skills

Fluent French, German or English
