Expert Master Data Governance (M/F/D)

Tasks:
Implementing global/regional/local processes and procedures, following guidance of the newly defined global MDM organization
Leading MDM workstreams in projects, e.g. ERP roll-outs, data catalogue implementation or a global master data governance system
Functionally owning master data applications and MDM business architecture in the headquarter
Continuously improving our applications to fit to new regulatory and market requirements, as well as striving for automatization and efficiency
Owning functional authorization roles for MDM related applications
Working closely with the Global Master Data Organization, the Operational Business Service Team and many other departments such as product management, regulatory, and planning. You act as the central communication and escalation point for MDM topics
participate in joint projects and initiatives, such as increasing data literacy and striving for FAIR (find, access, interoperate, reuse) master data

Qualification:
In-depth understanding of requirements of master data, as well its impact on business processes and digitalization
Good knowledge in master data relevant SAP areas like SAP MM, SD, MDG or comparable applications and an understanding about end-to-end data flows
Knowledge about master data governance and related tools, e.g. data catalogues
Experience from project management and operational activities with a focus on master data management
Experience in leading teams, e.g. as disciplinary lead, as a functional lead or in mid to large cross-functional project environments
Experience in business consultancy to create value for internal customers
Efficient communication on all hierarchy levels, in complex and multinational teams
Pro-active mindset and good organizational skills with a drive for results, hands-on mentality, and attention to detail
Very good command of written and spoken English as well as German
